<p>Good press can spread fast online. But bad press spreads even faster. <a title="Ryanair" href="http://www.ryanair.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.ryanair.com');" target="_blank">Ryanair</a> released an official statement, not only, confirming the company&#8217;s involvement, but also insulting Ryan and the blogosphere as a whole.</p>
<blockquote><p>Ryanair can confirm that a Ryanair staff member did engage in a blog discussion. It is Ryanair policy not to waste time and energy in corresponding with idiot bloggers and Ryanair can confirm that it won’t be happening again.</p>
<p>Lunatic bloggers can have the blog sphere all to themselves as our people are far too busy driving down the cost of air travel.</p></blockquote>
<p>Unlike <a title="Facebook updates on terms and conditions" href="http://blog.facebook.com/blog.php?post=54746167130" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/blog.facebook.com');" target="_blank">Facebook when facing with a case of bad publicity</a>, <a title="Ryanair" href="http://www.ryanair.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.ryanair.com');" target="_blank">Ryanair</a> clearly underestimated the shift of power and influence with social media. Bloggers have followers, and followers are ultimately consumers. When <a title="Ryanair" href="http://www.ryanair.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.ryanair.com');" target="_blank">Ryanair</a> is &#8220;too busy driving down the cost of air travel,&#8221; the consumers might just pick another company that cares about its clients.</p>
<p>I am not a <a title="Ryanair" href="http://www.ryanair.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.ryanair.com');" target="_blank">Ryanair</a> client but they already lost me!</p>

Let&#8217;s see how they come out.</p>
<p><strong>[update]</strong></p>
<p>Well I received free business cards from Marketsplash. I would say they are average:</p>
<ul>
<li> There was no promotional message on the back which was not expected</li>
<li>The paper is a too thin for my taste</li>
<li>On the front, the first 50 cards looks right; but then the rest is unusable because the logo was off-centered</li>
</ul>
<p>I would not feel comfortable giving this card to a prospect client. On another note, the batch of <a title="chom chom business cards" href="http://www.chomchomadvertising.com/the-painful-logo-and-business-card-design-for-chom-chom-advertising/" onclick="">500 cards</a> I ordered in 16pt dull paper came perfect.</p>
